Leash Manners and Obedience

This six-week course is designed to help dog owners develop polite leash manners and on-leash basic obedience skills with their dogs aged six months and older. Classes will focus on practical, real-world obedience behaviors and loose-leash walking techniques using positive reinforcement methods. This course is not suitable for reactive or aggressive dogs. Wednesdays 6p-7p

Course requirements:

Dogs must be 6 months or older and non-reactive/non-aggressive

All dogs must be up to date on vaccinations and current flea/tick medications

Handlers must be able to physically manage their dog on a leash

Dogs must arrive on a standard 4-6 ft leash (no retractable leashes) with a well-fitting collar, or on a 6 ft slip leash

Bring high-value treats, water/bowls, and waste bags to each class.
