Introduction to Sewing

Have you wanted to learn how to sew, but aren’t sure where to start? Have a project in mind, but need to brush up on the basics? Join us one night a week! We’ll go through the basics of sewing terminology, learning different fabrics for different projects, where to source different fabrics, how to read a pattern, where to find free patterns, how to care for finished projects and in the last class we will sew a throw pillow. Pattern included in class.

Materials needed: Portable Sewing Machine,½ yard of fabric, matching thread, 1 bag of 16 oz fiberfill, fabric scissors, water erasable marker or pen. Cost: $49
